On 27 May, six activists - including author Milan Rai, Peace News columnist Maya Evans and Trident Ploughshares' founder Angie Zelter - were arrested for staging a 'Die-in for NATO's Victims in Afghanistan' on the 2nd anniversary of the massacre in Haji Nabu - an attack in which 47 civilians were killed by US bombing (see

Their trial has now been set for three days (4 - 6 November), though it seems likely that it will actually finish on the 2nd day (5 November).
