It's recently become clear that Npower sold more ash
from Didcot in 2006 than they produced, and reduced
the size of their on-site stockpile from 315,000
tonnes in April 2006 to 164,000 tonnes in May 2007. So
the justification for filling Thrupp Lakes with ash is looking
very sketchy now.
