Oxford Town Hall, Council Chamber, Thurs 10th March, 7.30pm
Amnesty International, Ox Uni Iraq Society, Oxford Y&S CND
In less than a fortnight on March 19th there will be another demonstration in
London against the war in Iraq, under the banner of 'Bring the Troops home'.
It's been some 2 years since the invasion of Iraq, and you all know that plenty
has been happening in the interval - including debates over elections, WMD,
human rights, and the role of the international community.
These will continue to be pressing issues - so where do we stand?
Did you protest against the war, but now it's a reality aren't sure how to
effectively voice your objections?
Did you support the war and trust the decisions of our politicians, but now
have concerns over how the situation in Iraq is developing?
Or do you believe that actions in Iraq have been justified?
Find out more about what is happening on key issues inside Iraq, and hear about
how you can make your voice heard (you don't need to be radical or
controversial to make a stand!)
