Judith Albrecht is a Social Anthropologist and lives in Berlin. She has been a professional ethnographic filmmaker for several years. For her first film 'Mayo Wako' Lay down Your Heart', she won a prize at the Berlin EthnoFilmFest.
In her films, Albrecht not only combines academic and artistic skills of ethnographic filmmaking, but she also represents the participants' political claims.
