Oxford’s new Green Guide produced entirely with renewable energy
The new comprehensive guide to green living in Oxford is launched tomorrow at the city’s largest winter fair, the Oxford Green Fair, which takes place in the Town Hall.
Oxford Green Guide is produced entirely with renewable energy and environmentally friendly printing methods, by Oxford Green Print and Seacourt, two eco-friendly printers based in East Oxford.
The Oxford Green Guide is written and published by Oxford GreenPrint, a non-profit printing company based in East Oxford. The guide contains over 600 listings of green businesses, products and services, along with articles written by specialists in all aspects of green living, from greening your house on a budget to ethical investment.
The Fair also sees the launch of the Oxford Green Map, created using the international Green Map System, and created by a team of volunteers who aim to make Oxford a more sustainable city. Invaluable for residents and visitors alike, it gives detailed coverage of East and Central Oxford, along with portions of Jericho and South Oxford.
The Map retails for £2 and the Green Guide for £4.50, however there is a special introductory offer at the Winter Green Fair, where they can both be purchased for £5.
They will also be on sale at various bookshops, health food stores and other small businesses/community facilities around Oxford - or buy them direct from us.
