a letter to Andrew Smith ,requesting a public debate on the war, has been left at the Quaker shop, 43 St Giles. he has been asked numerous times before to engage in a public debate with george monbiot about the war, but has declined.
people from as many groups, societies, parties, collages and organisations as possible are asked to sign it followed by the name of the group etc.
the letter will be left at the Quaker shop until next Friday 4th July.
it would be appreciated if you could go in and sign it during this time and also pass this information on to people from other organisations. On the letter we only need one name from each organisation to show that the request for a public debate comes from a broad and varied cross section of groups in Oxford.
In addition there will be petitions there for everyone to sign requesting the public debate on the war.
