850 workers at the Cowley BMW plant were told they were being sacked immediately on arrival Monday 16 2 09 morning. The angry workers have pelted managers with fruit and accused union leaders of doing nothing.

There calling for:

A MASS PICKET OF THE COWLEY PLANT IN OXFORD AT 6am MONDAY MORNING GATE ONE.

This is just the fightback needed to follow on from the Lindsey wildcats.

It is long overdue that workers began to organise, the working class have allways rejected The far Left, snigerd at The Petty Bourgeois Anarchist:

So much for any union there for the boses not the workers, what a fucking disgrace The Left and The Petty Bourgeois Anarchist are, all our class are left with is the scum of The Far Right, we should never trust The Middle Class there fight is not in the intrest of our class and when the workers walked out in wildcat strikes, it was not a victory for The Working Class, but a compermise, true victory is the smashing of capitlism and the very system that keeps us as working class, until that day we should never rest..

If you can get down then do so, but as an act of unity leave your papers at home, likewise you smug patronising condensing tones, bring yourselfs and be ready to stand at the side of The working Class not act for them.

You are a fucking joke.

Wrong rank & file unionists, the IWW & socialist party are standing by,but

19.02.2009 12:49

we need more people. Socialist Party was organising on the frontline in the energy wildcats recently. So working class havent been left to the right. Also Trade councils have turned up like in Staythorpe & supported. Keep in contact with your local trades council, they need good input. Yes the paper sellers are abit annoying, but I'd personally love to see some Ian bone populist papers or something like evading standards with some sport & sexy comments in it rather than the political papers that can appear totally stolid.
Also the Green party have been doing some interersting stuff, increasingly getting involved in unionism. Their MEPs do make an effort & a generally want more of a direct democracy more than any other party, so yep theyve got my vote though if the local candidate is a asehole. Englands Green party though is not the German green party who yes made mistakes with Afghanistan, though there was generally alot of fear&anger towards Islam after 911, including in the anarchist movement

Now this is a blog of someone I have alot of respect for, a green libertarian trade unionist who despite a full time job & a young family is one of main organisers against a incinerator in Mansfield & generally a true working class hero.
Thanks for updating IMC on the whats happening at Cowley, I bet afew were confused with it being the name of a well known club in Brighton, your a bit of working class hero too Mo, great photos

Green Syndicalist

Before this descends into a Python"life of Brian"sketch is there any transport

19.02.2009 13:06

going from sheffield? or the midlands? 6am is pretty early, especially if you have to travel. The bearfacts website might know,  http://www.bearfacts.co.uk/Forum/index.php or libcom. I dont think any IWW wobblies from midlands will be going, most are in FT work. We definetely need libertarian people there though.

"petty bourgeois anarchists"??

19.02.2009 13:42

what the fuck do you mean by that? first of all, the vast majority are ordinary working people. secondly, what does their economic status got to do with this situation, or any situation?

seriously, don't use these workers' struggle against BOSSES (not anarchists) and UNION LEADERS (not anarchists) for your little games. give them the respect they deserve and quit making cheap shots.
